Location and function

The Center for Quality Assurance (Center) is a unit under the Vietnam National University of Agriculture (University) with the function of advising and assisting the President in managing, synthesizing, proposing ideas, and organizing the implementation of higher education quality assurance through the formulation and implementation of the implement the plan to ensure education quality; self-assessment to improve and improve the quality of training and other aspects of the University’s activities; registration for accreditation of training programs and University; on maintaining and developing conditions for ensuring education quality and quality management system; on the implementation of the regime of information and reporting on results of education quality accreditation as prescribed.

Mission and powers

1. To formulate and submit to the President of the University for signing and promulgating documents regulating and implementing plans for education quality assurance.

2. To guide and monitor the implementation of regulations related to quality assurance of units and individuals in the University.

3. To make statistics and reports on education quality assurance at the request of the University and competent authorities.

4. To carry out regular and periodic self-assessments of the quality of training programs and the University regularly and periodically. Guide the implementation of self-assessment, propose and monitor the implementation of measures to improve the quality of education in the University.

5. To advise and implement measures to ensure education quality: to organize the education quality assurance system and the quality management system of the University; develop tools, coordinate and choose ways to collect opinions from relevant parties, evaluate the quality of teaching as well as the work of serving teaching.

6. To register for participation in the ranking of universities in the region and in the world, to build and publish a database by the ranking index.

7. To monitor, urge and evaluate the implementation of quality assurance by individuals and units in the University, to act as the focal point for information and coordination in uniform activities in education quality assurance.

8. To cooperate with education quality assurance organizations, share information and exchange experiences in education quality assurance. Providing related professional consultancy services to ensure the quality of education.

9. To act as the focal point for relevant agencies and organizations according to their assigned functions and tasks.

10. The grassroots level comprehensively manages human resources, proposes needs and coordinates with functional units to participate in the process of recruitment, training and retraining of public employees and employees of the Center by current regulations.

11. To effectively manage and use the assigned labor and assets by the provisions of law and the University.

12. To perform other tasks assigned by the President of the University
