The Center for Quality Assurance was established under Decision No. 377/QD-NN1 dated February 12, 2007 of the President of Hanoi University of Agriculture with the function of advising the President and responsible for organizing the implementation and management of examination work and quality assurance for high education and postgraduation, services related to testing work and quality assurance.

According to Decision No. 1424/QD-NNH dated October 6, 2009, the Center was renamed the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance under 2-level administrative management: University – Department level.

On February 14, 2012, the President issued Decision No. 248/QD-NNH to establish the Department of Inspection, Testing and Quality Assurance on the basis of merging the Department of Education Inspection and the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance.

Facing the increasing requirements of educational integration and the country’s high quality human resource requirements, it is necessary to continue to promote and further promote the quality training achievements that the University has persistently pursued for nearly 60 years. The establishment of a specialized unit to advise and organize the implementation of quality assurance work is very important and necessary. Therefore, on November 20, 2013, the President of Hanoi University of Agriculture issued Decision No. 2449/QD-NNH to establish the Center for Quality Assurance.
